It Starts in Parks!

Jason Furry is the Parks & Recreation Coordinator.  He is a Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) as well as a Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA).  Jason has been with the Department since 1993.  He is a member of the Florida Recreation & Park Association and is a certified Aquatic Facility Operator.

Donna Serrano is the Administrative Assistant.  She is an Associate Park & Recreation Professional (APRP) and has been with the Department since 1997.  She is the Office Manager and handles our Marketing.  Donna is member of the Florida Recreation & Park Association. 

Earl Leavitt is the Parks & Facilities Supervisor whose primary duty is coordinating the care and maintenance of the 21 Parks and various facilities of the Department.  He has been with the Department since 2001. 

Al Clark is a Grounds Maintenance II Worker whose primary duty is to prepare the Athletic fields and maintain the pool.  He has been with the Department since 1998.  He is a certified Aquatic Facility Operator.

Helen Chauncey is the Administrative Aide and the person you see when you come in to register.  Helen is in charge of keeping your information updated and handling the front desk.  She has been with the Department since 2001.

Alden Rosner is our Athletics Supervisor.  He handles the programming and scheduling of our leagues and activities.  Alden graduated from the University of Florida with a Master of Science degree in Sport Management and has recently obtained his Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) certificate.

Lee Fletcher is our newest employee and is Park Maintenance Worker.  His primary duty will be to maintain the 21 parks along with a trustee crew. 

Dawn Brown is a Park Maintenance Worker.  Her primary duty is to maintain the 21 parks along with a trustee crew.  She comes to us with a background in Landscaping.
